"I bought this to save energy costs compared to an electric kettle that stopped working. I can use this for camping trips too. I love the design and quality feel which is better that I expected as you never can be sure with 5 star reviews. I suspect this will last a lot longer than the electric kettle so a double win on economy."

"We bought this kettle to use on a camping gaz stove. It is a perfect size and well made. The whistle is great for letting you know the kettle is boils. The handle folds down for easy storage, but I wonder if with time and use it will stay in the upright position as it is held there by friction - time will tell"

"It is shiny. It boils water. It whistles. I am in love with this kettle and hope to marry it once the law allows it. Oh, kettle, my kettle….
(It’s a great wee kettle. I bought it because my electric kettle took up space in my tiny kitchen and I thought a kettle that sat on the hob would be more suitable. Whistle is loud enough for me to hear when I’m in my home office along the hallway (can’t be bothered to measure to give you exact info, sorry!). Takes longer to boil but that’s to be expected. Really happy with it)."

"I was disappointed with my whistling kettle. It doesn’t whistle. It’s a bit like having a dumb parrot. or a dog that won’t bark I use it on a small camping stove with a very small canister so whistle is important as to alert me so no gas gets wasted"

"having lost my previous kettle to armed men, i bought this one for a stay where i intended using camping cooker... the build is good and it's volume belies it's size which seems quite small when you get the box... the whistle flip up is strongly built and should last a long time if handled properly, the fold down handle is ideal for filling from a jug or camping water container... a bonus compared to fixed handle... the bottom is barely tarnishing while used for gas and overall this is a great little performer with a sturdy build.... recommended..."
