"I bought this in case the electric kettle breaks or there's a power cut (I've had to use a saucepan before). I thought this kettle felt a bit lightweight in the box, but it's great! I have not encountered a problem lifting the whistle-cap to pour (I don't get burnt with steam). It boils quickly on a gas hob. I'll keep it for emergencies, but it looks good, it works well and I'm very pleased with it."
