"There are those occasions in life where inanimate objects have traits of animals.
Take this Iron, there can be no romance here as it is an iron. An item designed to flatten clothing through the application of heat. You will be pleased to know it does these things and if the price is deciding factor in what you sought, then this is indeed a good iron. It does iron well, it is hot and steamy, it is (by many another review) slightly weightier than other irons. However, I believe that adds to the effectiveness. However, leaving that simplistic review aside… I am observing characteristics that are very shark like, the yellow highlighted peripheries, the sleek and speedy black and grey. The aerodynamic shapes and smooth underbelly…. No? Well then, it is one very beautiful iron and it has my appreciative vote regardless of any other zoomorphic misidentifications by yours truly."

"It’s nice and heavy ! Good length of cable and easy to fill up. Still appears to only be used by myself despite the neutral colours and jazzy name! As far as it goes it’s and iron that works so yay"

"For the past 30 years I have sworn by Tefal irons. These have deteriorated over the years so swapped to this Philuos Azur and what a great iron it is. Not cheap at £70+ but dies the job."

"This iron is smooth in the clothes, it doesn't leak water, the water level in the tank is easy to see when refilling it and there is plenty of flex length. It's a bit heavier than most irons but that doesn't present any issues. Altogether a very competent iron and value for money"

Makes short work of ironing

"Produces masses of steam, through large soleplate which glides over clothes and makes short work of creases. I liked the retro colours. The iron is slightly heavy but not enough to cause an issue. The only problem I have had is with the plug, which has an extended plastic piece going down the cord. If your socket is flush to skirting board, it can be difficult to get flat in the socket. This is poor, considering it's otherwise an excellent product, and something Phillips should look at. You will also need to have a water jug handy, sadly not provided, to top up the iron frequently, but if you want creasless clothes you can't have it both ways!"

"Very well built and slides very well. The steam output is really good. Only downside is the water deposit is small so somwtimes needs a refill halfway trough. Otherwise perfect and a very good deal for the price."
